Free Dialysis Centre Started
A free dialysis centre was started at Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission hospital in Agali from January 2019. The centre was started with under the aegis of Santhi Medical Information Centre led by Srimathi Uma Preman, an eminent social worker.
Santhi Medical Information Centre is already running 11 free dialysis centres in the state. The trust is also engaged in several medical relief and educational projects in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This centre will cater to patients with Chronic kidney disease requiring Hemodialysis. So far 9 patients are being provided free service here.
