This project is supported by a grant from Sewa Canada. The farmers are given seeds and support systems to sustain their kitchen gardens. They are also given technical knowledge for growing various vegetables and fruits. The project is aimed at improving consumption of organic vegetables in the daily diet of tribal families, in order to raise the nutrient content of their food.
