Celebrating 20 Years of Service to Tribal Communities in Kerala
Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission has completed 20 years of service and impact in tribal villages of Kerala. To mark this milestone, we are launching a series of activities under the title “UTKARSH – In Search for New Heights”, which will begin on January 12th, 2025 and conclude on September 15th, 2025.
These activities aim to reflect on our journey so far and look ahead to broadening our reach and extending our services to areas with similar needs. We look forward to having you join us in this meaningful celebration.

As India moves toward becoming the world’s third-largest economy, achieving “Vikasit Bharat 2047” requires a strong and inclusive development sector. Social work and civil society play a crucial role in addressing the country’s socio-economic challenges.
From the ideals of “Ram Rajya” to modern rights-based governance, the sector has evolved through milestones such as the Societies Registration Act, post-independence planning, people’s movements, CSR initiatives, and the Sustainable Development Goals. Innovations like the Social Stock Exchange (SSE) present new opportunities and challenges today.
The Utkarsh Confluence of Development Professionals provides a platform for professionals, academicians, NGOs, and students to collaborate, reflect, and innovate toward a just, inclusive, and empowered India by 2047.
